The core objective of JanSamarth Portal is to promote inclusive growth and development of various sectors by guiding and providing them to the right type of Government benefits through simple and easy digital processes. The portal ensures end-to-end coverage of all the processes and activities of all the linked schemes. Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said as of now, 12 credit schemes that granted credit from banks were on the portal, to ensure that citizens need not answer the same questions whenever they applied for schemes.
Benefits And Features Of Jan Samarth Portal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Jan Samarth Portal on 6th June 2022.
According to the PMO, the Jan Samarth Portal is a one-stop digital portal linking government credit schemes that directly connect beneficiaries to lenders.
This portal will directly connect the beneficiaries to the lenders.
Jan Samarth Portal is a digital portal linking 13 credit linked government schemes on a single platform.All the credit-linked schemes of the government will be end to end covered in this portal.
On this portal will make the entire lending process simple, speedy, and hassle-free.
The portal will be used to get end-to-end coverage of all the processes and activities of all the linked schemes.
The Jan Samarth Portal enables beneficiaries to choose from multiple options offered by various member lending institutes present on the portal.
The platform currently has over 10 nodal agencies and over 125 lenders on board.
This portal will have multiple integration platforms which will provide the backbone of digital access to authenticate data, reduce the hassle of member lending Institute as well as beneficiaries
Jan Samarth Portal has multiple integrations with UIDAI, CBDT, NSDL, LGD etc. to make the processes smooth for both beneficiaries and lenders.
