Airtel’s COO, Ajai Puri in a statement noted that Airtel mobile customers were already enjoying unlimited free calls to all networks with the prepaid bundles and also the postpaid plans and that TRAI’s announcement will not change any talktime benefits that Airtel offers.
Airtel Rs 199 revised prepaid plan: Airtel is currently offering 1.5GB daily data with its Rs 199 prepaid plan. The plan also offers unlimited calls for 24 days with 100 SMS with free Hellotunes, Wynk Music, and access to Airtel XStream. However, the plan is currently available only to select customers in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka telecom circles. The development was first noted by Telecom Talk. It is interesting to note that Airtel is offering the same benefits with its Rs 249 prepaid plan with a validity of 28 days.
Jio Rs 199 prepaid plan: This prepaid plan offers 1.5GB daily data with 28 days validity taking the total data spread to 42GB. The plan now offers unlimited domestic calls from Jio to any network within the country and 100 SMS and a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.
Vi Rs 199 prepaid plan: Vi offers 1GB daily data with its Rs 199 prepaid plan. The plan offers truly unlimited local and national calls to all Networks with 100SMS per Day with pack validity for 24 days with complimentary access to Vi Movies and TV. Vi also offers a prepaid plan for Rs 249 that offers 1.5GB daily data for a validity of 28 days. The telco offers additional 5GB data if recharged from the app with weekend rollover data benefits that lets customers enjoy used up data over the weekend.
