Jio is back with its ‘Jio Data Pack’ that offers 2GB data for free to prepaid users in India. As reported by Telecom Talk, Jio has started providing this data on April 27th. This comes within two months of the company crediting users’ accounts
(in March) with additional data without any intimation. Now, in late April, the telco is again crediting prepaid users’ accounts with the free Jio data, which comes with four days of validity and a quota of 2GB free data per day. This data works atop the existing pack’s data benefit to increase the daily FUP limit of the internet.

This data works atop the existing pack’s data benefit to increase the daily FUP limit of the internet.
For instance, if your pack’s daily data limit is 1.5GB per day, it’ll be increased to 3.5GB/ day with ‘Jio Data Pack’. The only catch, however, Jio is randomly crediting the account so you may or may not receive the free benefits. Jio prepaid users can check for the availability of Jio Data Pack on their account under ‘My Plans’ section in MyJio mobile app.
“The Mukesh Ambani-led telco began credited the Jio Data Pack on April 27th, so the expiry day would be May 1st or May 2nd or May 3rd, depending on when the pack is credited in your prepaid account,” added the report. As stated above, the pack doesn’t come with any cost.
Additionally, Jio had also introduced special data packs starting at Rs 11 to assist users working from home amidst pandemic coronavirus-induced lockdown. The company has also increased the validity of prepaid plans of the users till May 3rd and announced special offers for JioFiber users.
All the best
