Airtel has announced that more than 8 crore prepaid users will now receive Rs 10 as a free talktime. This will empower them to speak with their near and dear ones, in the times of this massive crisis.
Airtel said, “Airtel will also credit an additional Rs 10 of talk time in the pre-paid accounts
of all these 80 million customers to enable them to make calls or send SMS and therefore stay connected with their loved ones,”

This extra benefit of Rs 10 will be rolled out to all prepaid users in the coming days.
No Recharge Required For Airtel Users :-
Besides this, Airtel has announced that their 8 crore prepaid users are not required to do any recharge of their accounts, till April 27th.
This will be especially beneficial for those users, whose prepaid validity is expiring.
Now, these users need not do any fresh recharge to keep services on.
In a statement, Airtel said, “Airtel has extended the pre-paid pack validity for over 80 million customers till April 17, 2020. All these customers will continue to get incoming calls on their Airtel mobile numbers even after the validity of their plan is exhausted.”
Hence, this waiver from Airtel cover almost a month.
Jio and BSNL too has announced special benefits and schemes for helping out their users amidst coronavirus outbreak. BSNL has offered free broadband, while Jio is offering double data benefits.
