Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) launched Aadhaar mobile app new version of its app last month. This is available for both Android and iOS users.
Aadhaar cardholders using the mAadhaar app can download Aadhaar card,
offline eKYC, scan QR code, request a reprint, update address, verify Aadhaar, verify email ID, retrieve UID/EID, request for Address Validation Letter and track status of various online requests.

1. Add up to 3 profiles: One can add up to three Aadhaar profiles in the new mAadhaar app. After which one-time password (OTP) for authentication will be sent to the registered mobile number of the Aadhaar holder.
2. Lock/Unlock Biometrics: One can set a four-digit passcode in their new Aadhaar app, which will be required if the cardholder use any services given under 'My Aadhaar' section for the selected Aadhaar profile like Aadhaar Lock/ Unlock, Biometric Lock/ Unlock, VID generator, eKYC, etc.
3. Locate Aadhaar Kendra: New version of the mAadhaar app shows all the nearby Aadhaar Kendra or search for one in the area of your choice on the map. Aadhaar cardholders may also search for one using the search options on the top.
4. Download Aadhaar: Aadhaar cardholders can download their Aadhaar anytime anywhere from their mAaadhaar app. The one-time password (OTP) for download will be sent to the mobile number registered with the selected Aadhaar.
5. Order Aadhaar reprint: Cardholders can order Aadhaar reprint from their mAadhaar app. It will cost you Rs 50 and the reprinted Aadhaar will be delivered within 15 days to the registered address in given Aadhaar.
