IRCTC has launched a three-night and four days flight package to Tirupati. It will cover temples and places of Chennai, Tirupati, Vellore and Mahabalipuram. Every year lakhs of devotees come to the town to pay homage at the Sri Venkateswara Temple,
which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu is known as Balaji by the North Indians while the South Indians call him Govinda. Also, this town is famous for its wooden toys, which are made from a type of redwood.

The name of the package is Tirupati Darshan with Vellore, Mahabalipuram and Chennai. The mode of traveling is flight in comfort class. The tour will start from October 18, 2019, and December 12, 2019. The meal plan will include breakfast and dinner. The accommodation will be in Cresent Park or similar to that.
The onward journey from Indore to Chennai will be via 1940-2145 (6E 145) IndiGo flight and return journey from Chennai to Indore will be through IndiGo 1710-1910 (6E 143). The cost of the package differs for both the dates. If the departure date is October 18, then this package will cost you Rs 24,100 per person on single sharing, Rs 19,900 on twin and rs 17,900 on triple sharing. Whereas for December 13 tour, the tariff per person is Ts 25,400 on single, Rs 20,600 on twin and Rs 19,100 on triple sharing.
The package will include return airfare on Indigo airlines, accommodation in deluxe hotel for three nights, sightseeing and transfer by A/C vehicle, three breakfasts and three dinners, One IRCTC tour manager throughout the tour, Tirupati darshan tickets and all taxes. There are total 23 seats available.
There are certain exclusions in the package such as any service not mentioned in inclusions, Lunch, personal expenses such as Laundry, telephone calls, tips and gratuity, mineral water, soft and hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, Porterage, still or video camera fees etc., additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary. Also, any additional meals or en route meals, sightseeing and activities other than those mentioned in the itinerary will not be included in the package cost.
According to IRCTC, the cancellation charges will be as per the company policy. The final confirmation in the proposed hotels is subject to the availability at the time of booking, else similar category hotel will be provided. Food and beverages in the flight will be on chargeable basis. The transfers and sightseeing tours are on SIC (seat in coach) or shared basis by A/C vehicle. It may be noted that the package cost is calculated on lowest class Air Fare. Any increase in airfare or airport taxes has to be borne by the client.
