The telecom operator has revealed that as part of a promotional offer, BSNL subscribers making use of the Rs 1,699 recharge will get 90 days of extra validity, bringing the total validity of the plan to a whopping 455 days. The promotion is being run between August 14 and September 13, with BSNL also revealing that the promotion will be applicable on all modes of the recharge.
As BSNL has explained, the plan includes unlimited voice calling benefits with FUP of 250 minutes daily which can be used both in home circle and during national roaming -- including Delhi and Mumbai circles. In terms of data benefits, the plan offers 2GB daily data at 4G speeds which will be throttled to 80kbps afterward.
However, this allowance can also be increased by users opting for another BSNL plan which will end on September 29. This particular offer gives BSNL Rs 1,699 users extra 2.2GB data per day at high speeds -- thereby increasing the total per day high-speed data to 4.2GB.
Earlier, it announced the Rs 1,399 and Rs 1,001 prepaid recharge vouchers in select states in India.
The Rs 1,399 BSNL prepaid recharge plan comes bundled with unlimited voice calls which will be applicable to all networks except in New Delhi and Mumbai. Subscribers will additionally get 1.5GB data daily with 50 SMS per day. The long-term prepaid plan comes with a validity of 270 days. In addition to this, BSNL is offering the plan for a promotional period of 90 days as well.
The Rs 1,001, BSNL prepaid recharge plan, on the other hand, costs little cheaper in comparison to the 1,399 prepaid plan. It offers 9GB of data and 750 SMS for the entire validity period the plan comes with. Further, subscribers will get unlimited voice calls except for roaming in Delhi and Mumbai. Like BSNL's Rs 1,399 prepaid recharge voucher, this plan too comes with a validity period of 270 days and with 90 days promotional period.
