Call of Duty is already live and players who have pre-registered for the game are already receiving notifications to download the game in a phased manner. Now, the battle royale mode of the game has also gone live and players are getting notifications within the game asking to ‘Join now’ and start playing. Though the mode is named as battle royale mode, there are a few things that differentiate Activision’s battle royale mode from the existing games in the genre. Here’s everything you need to know before start playing the game.
To start with, as soon as the players log in into the game, a new pop banner appears stating ‘Battle Royale is coming’ along with the ‘Join Now’ button or directly tap on the Battle Royale mode option from the last leg of the ‘M’ logo or mode selecting option.
After this, the game shows basic step-by-step guidelines for the mode. The first thing players need to do is select the class, then parachute to the map, search for the weapons, items and armor, develop the strategy and fight till the last one stating wins. This is the basic concept of any battle royale game.
Call of Duty Mobile: Battle royale modes
Another thing to know is just like PUBG Mobile, the COD: Mobile also offers two perspectives -- TPP (Third-person perspective) and FPP (First-person perspective). Along with this, players also have the option to play in Solo, Duo or Squad.

Unlike the ‘Multiplayer’ modes five maps, the battle royale mode just has one map named ‘Isolated’
Call of Duty Mobile: Battle royale controls
The controls of the game look almost similar to the PUBG Mobile if not the same. The placement of buttons, maps, and other controls are identical to what we have seen in PUBG. However, Activision has game them their own touch. Users can also manually customize the controls and adjust the location by heading into the settings of the game.
Call of Duty Mobile: Battle royale gameplay
As mentioned above, the gameplay is almost similar to other battle royale games but COD has something more to offer as the game allows players to choose a class at the beginning of the game. The class has been an old concept among Call of Duty games from quite some time now and it allows players to choose their own set of weapons, items, etc.
