BMW launches Affordable motorcycles in India

BMW Motorrad has officially launched couple of its latest models to make every one use the high-end models of BMW at affordable prices in India.

Coming to the details,
BMW Motorrad bicycles like G310 R and G310 GS models in India, priced at Rs 2.99 lakh and Rs 3.49 lakh. The company has made in partnership with TVS Motor Company, marks BMW's foray into the sub-500 cc segment in India.

BMW G 310 R takes design cues from its elder sibling, the S 1000 R and the G 310 GS is its touring capable version which takes inputs from the company's GS adventure series.

The entry-level BMW bikes get power from a new 313cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. The liquid-cooled motor churns out 34PS of power and a peak torque of 28Nm. The claimed fuel efficiency of the bikes is around 30kmpl and it has a top speed of 145kmph.

Bikes get Beefy USD front forks, rear monoshock with adjustable preload, wide tubeless tyres, front and rear disc brakes and ABS as standard key features.

G 310 GS, gets mild off-roading capabilities as well with longer-travel suspension set-up, larger 19-inch front wheel and some other mechanical and cosmetic changes.
