Facebook owned Instagram has officially launched new long-form video feature in a bid to attract "creators" and thus to give tough competition to Youtube all the way.
Within no time, Instagram has
managed to gain 1 Billion users and remained to be 4rth Facebook platform to hit the billion-user mark. Kevin Systrom, Instagram chief executive said at the launch of IGTV Long Video App as " We have now a community of one billion users, Since our launch in 2010, we've watched with amazement as the community has flourished and grown."

Instagram's IGTV Long Video App will enable any user to upload long-form videos and will also include "channels" from video "creators".
Kevin Systrom said " Anyone can be a creator - you can upload your own IGTV videos in the app or on the web to start your own channel, The way we are watching video is changing, built for how you actually use your phone, so videos are full screen and vertical."
