Jet Jumps Into UDAN With Rs 967 Ticket!
Under Govt.of India’s ‘Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik’ (UDAN) scheme, several Tier 2 and 3 cities are being connected with the national air route, and tickets are being offered at a cheap rate.
Under this UDAN scheme, Jet Airways has announced special airfares starting from Rs 967 for some selected sectors.
Here are the 5 routes announced as of now:
Lucknow-Allahabad-Lucknow: Rs. 967
Patna-Allahabad-Patna: Rs. 1,216
Nagpur-Allahabad-Nagpur: Rs. 1,690
Indore-Allahabad-Indore: Rs. 1,914
Delhi-Nashik-Delhi: Rs. 2,665
It is expected that more private airlines will use UDAN scheme to offer cheaper airfares, this summer.
