The South Korean company LG on Thursday has officially unveiled the first V-series Smartphone the V10 at an event, besides launching the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition circular Smartwatch.
LG V10 boasts of the dual screens and the dual front cameras. The second screen is located as an inset display just above the main 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) IPS Quantum display, and it can be set as "always on" display screen to upgrade on the weather, time, date and battery icon, even when the main display is off. The Second Screen is a 2.1-inch IPS Quantum Display with a screen resolution of 160x1040 pixels.
While the main screen of V10 is ON, you can use the Second Screen to launch shortcuts or other apps. For instance, if you are watching a movie on the main screen, you can use the Second Screen to take the notifications of texts or even incoming calls.
LG V10 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and Adreno 418 GPU, like in G4 though V10 has 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM compared to the G4’s 3GB, and is backed by 3000mAh removable battery
With 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS 2.0 and a 5-megapixel dual-front cameras with two separate lenses that can capture standard 80-degree selfies or wide-angle selfies of up to 120 degrees, LG V10 supports 16:9 standard or 21:9 ratios resolutions alongside the HD, FHD or UHD resolutions.
LG V10 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and measures 8.6mm in thickness and weighs 192 grams. The device is available in Space Black, Luxe White, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue, and Opal Blue colours. It hits South Korea in a month, followed by United States, China and other markets including Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East soon.
