Acer’s Predator 6, gaming smartphone with deca-core processor

Acer at IFA is showing off the wide variety of its new launches including gaming PCs, laptops, tablets, and now a gaming smartphone, with high-end specifications as well as the same aggressive styling of its Predator range.
Acer has announced its Predator 6 at IFA, which is powered by Helio X20 processor, which is the world’s first chipset to feature 10 core-processor.
We have seen dual, Quadra and Octa-core processors, but with Acer now coming up with deca-core processor, it sure makes the company lead the competition. The company supposes that Predator 6 will "dominate" any game users making it interesting.

Looks like a beast of a phone sharing Acer’s earlier gaming products branding, the smart device is for those who enjoys heavier side of mobile gaming. Predator 6 packs MediaTek deca-core processor built on 20nm process with two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.5GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores at 2.0GHz and the remaining four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.4GHz with 4GB of RAM and dual haptic feedback motors.

The smartphone with some super-gnarly black-and-red styling boasts of 21MP rear camera, as well as four front-facing speakers for that ultimate gaming and media consumption experience. It has the 6-inch HD display and runs on Android.

The details are thin on ground for now, and the pricing and release date are yet-to-be mentioned. But we guess the Acer would price it somewhere above $500, taking into consideration of the device specifications.
